I just went to Once Upon a Mattress and loved it! Loved the new chairs, too.... A much-needed improvement! I performed in some of the children's shows there a few years ago and hopefully now that I'm back in the area I'll be able to audition again soon. Thanks for keeping the arts alive in LaPorte.

Hey- I may just not see it but maybe listing the times that the shows run may be a good idea. I know it is different than Footlight but I cannot remember specific times.

Hi everyone! I'm encouraging you all to stop down at the theatre to see our most current project. All of the old chairs are gone on the main floor, and we have built 2 different levels of raked platforms for the new seating. The new seating will provide much better viewing from all parts of the theatre, and the peformers on stagewill find that the audience appears to be much closer to you than before. Come check it out! This website looks fantastic. I wish I could try out for Once Upon a Mattress. My nephew will be getting married on the first weekend of the show. I'm looking forward to all of the shows this year. Congrats on a great looking season!!!

Hello theatre fans and supporters. Thank you for your patience. I apologize for taking so long to update. I just moved into a new constuction home and started a new job. But I'm back now. After speaking with our new president yesterday, I have been informed that we are waiting for the rights to be secured on the shows before we post them on the site. Ah...the politics of it all! What a great 2007-2008 season at the LaPorte Little Theatre. We enjoyed every show. What is on tap for the 2008-2009 season, and when can we look forward to auditions?

What a treasure to stumble upon Laporte Little Theater after moving here! Bonnie Quigley was an immense source of encouragement and example of PATIENCE while directing "A Christmas Story" .You are all so talented and generous in sharing your craft with the community. "I Hate Hamlet" was awesome!!!
